SeekViews is a pilot platform designed to help underseen projects reach relevant people through private matching and voluntary attention.
This Privacy Policy explains what information SeekViews collects, how it is used, and the boundaries we place around tracking and identity.
If you submit a project, we may collect information such as your email address, project URL, project name, description, format, language, and selected interests.
If you participate as a Scout, we may collect your email address, selected interests, and your interactions with projects shown to you.
These interactions may include whether a project was shown to you, whether you chose to visit it, skipped it, saved it, or optionally provided a reaction or written comment.
SeekViews does not reveal Scout identities to project creators.
Creators may receive aggregate information such as:
Scout names, email addresses, and other identifying information are not included in creator results.
When you choose to visit a project, the project opens on its own external website.
SeekViews records that you chose to visit the project, but we do not intentionally monitor what you do after you leave SeekViews.
We do not place SeekViews inside an iframe or use SeekViews to track your browsing activity across external project websites.
External websites have their own privacy practices and may independently collect information about visitors.
SeekViews uses Google Analytics through Site Kit by Google to understand basic website usage, such as visits, pages viewed, device information, approximate geographic information, and traffic sources.
Google may process information according to its own privacy policies.
Analytics data is separate from the private feedback that SeekViews provides to project creators.
SeekViews and services used to operate the website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic website functionality, security, analytics, and session management.
We use collected information to:
SeekViews does not sell personal information to advertisers or project creators.
Paying for promotion does not currently determine who receives a first opportunity through the SeekViews pilot.
We keep pilot information only for as long as it is reasonably useful for operating, evaluating, and improving SeekViews, or as required for legitimate administrative or legal purposes.
You may request deletion of information associated with your email address.
SeekViews is not designed specifically for children. If we learn that personal information was submitted by a child in circumstances where consent is legally required, we may remove that information.
SeekViews is currently an early pilot, so this Privacy Policy may change as the product evolves.
